I am a strong Latina woman that has overcome many obstacles and accomplished many goals. I am creating this site to share my journey along with share with you all the lessons I have learned so far. My hope is that I inspire you all to follow your dreams as I continue to follow mine. This page will be a working progress, as in life, it takes small steps to accomplish big dreams. My goal is to make this site as interactive as possible. My intention for this page is to improve my life while helping others.

Hi, I am Yuri! I am the Latina that was raised by a single mother on government assistance to graduating from The University of Texas at Austin and becoming a registered nurse. I have endured many obstacles and surpassed all expectations. I am proof that one's background does not defy one's future. That a Latina can break all the stereotypes a society tries to place on her while still embracing the beauty of her culture. Become a role model and inspiration to younger Latinas and minorities. I am smart, strong, caring, goal driven, beautiful, and many more qualities. I am a Latina and unapologetically me!
